The ball was in Pepe Reina's hands with 55 seconds of 4 minutes of added time to go. A hard won big point in the bag.

You cannot, cannot lose from that set-up ever. No excuses for Engels.

trez for that selfish shot - twat = should have put Luiz through on goal

engles   fucking hell man - that is awful .. 93 min too - you utter twat

reina  - what a great game

Jack was Jack

Nakamba looked great coming on and Luiz did ok for me but if he scored we win this game and probably stay up with the confidence.

full backs were ok - targett a little crap near the end with a cross too

Hause and konsa not prem really - konsa could be

Samatta - I love

el ghazi did alright for me

DD   - slow as a Rhino

the last sub baston looked shit

still think we have enough to survive but fuck me we keep shooting ourselves in the foot

missed mings .....

Losing Mings beforehand was the difference. Mings plays and I don't think we'd have conceded 3 goals. Only plus point is we're still out of the bottom 3, just.....

We've the worst defence in the division. Today was another example of why. Beyond belief.

Why are so many saying relegation is ‘nailed on’ ‘racing certainty’ etc.  I saw enough fight there to take this to the wire unlike the last time we were relegated. There is only one team that is nailed on and that’s Norwich at the moment. Other teams around us have changed their managers which is always a risk

Weak, weak, weak. Full of mistakes, gift goals away, easy to create chances against. We will go down, you don't stay up conceding 70+ goals, generally, which is what we are on course to do.

Didn’t deserve that.

I'm sorry but we absolutely did. We didn't take our chances. We gifted them lots and lots before the winner. Reina stood on his fucking head all game to deny them. We were beaten for being precisely who and what we are and have been all season long.

Reina was amazing today.. and he let up 3 goals. That says a lot.

We are cursed.

Lets be honest, we defended horrifically all game and would have been hammered if not for Spurs being so wasteful and Reina also making some good saves. Back 3 were embarrassingly bad today. Pub teams would be laughed at for defending that poorly.

We played some decent stuff going forward and Samatta adds a nice dimension to our attacking play.

Why when we have allegedly one of England's best ever defenders on the management team is our defending so shit
I really don't think you can blame John Terry for Engels utter fucking useless defending for their winner. Schoolboy, sunday league stuff. He had one fucking job. Hit the ball into tow Z. That one moment could define our season.

Probably because of the wild abandon with which we throw points away.

Can someone please explain exactly what Engels actually did?

What you would’ve done in the same situation Lee!

I don't think it's unreasonable to blame Terry for the state of our defending across two-thirds of a season though.
