The absence of spectators is a detriment to most sports. However, golf is far better without them

Yeah I'm not missing 'Get in the hole'

I also don't miss seeing a hundred idiots sticking their face out at every tee. I know those guys and gals are good, but a slight mis-hit and someone could have their face turned inside out.

McIlroy shoots a 75 first round and then follows it up with a 66, typical Rory.

At Augusta Greg Norman, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth are examples of golfers, who have had big leads going into the final round and then had major meltdowns.

Johnson's nearest challengers are Ancer, Im, Smith and Frittelli and none of those have even be in in contention to win a grand slam, let alone win one. So if someone is going to make a challenge it may well come from Thomas or Reed. It's still possible, but I wouldn't recommend putting any money on it.

The leaders are teeing off at 2.39pm yet the Augusta committee are not allowing live coverage until 3pm, they're a strange lot at Augusta.

Rory shoots a 3 under par for his first nine, now only 5 off the lead. Johnson's lead cut to 2, it's getting interesting.

Tiger just had a 10 on the par 3 12th, went into the water 3 times, sad to see.

Well it was a great weekend for our Jack, Lewis Hamilton, Katie Taylor and in golf Dustin Johnson. At the turn Cameron Smith was just 2 shots behind, but it only really looked like been one winner and Johnson put it beyond doubt with a run of 3 birdies at 13, 14 and 15. He had previously blown 4 leads after 3 rounds in majors, so fair play to him for seeing this one out. His final score 20 under was an Augusta record, which says it all.

Credit also to Cameron Smith on becoming the first player in Masters history to shoot all 4 rounds in the 60s. Agree with montague that was some come back by Tiger, can't have been too many players, who have done something similar at Augusta or any major.

Matt Fitzpatrick wins the DP World Championship with a closing round of 68. Lee Westwood wins The Race to Dubai not bad at the age of 47.
