The worst I've seen for a long time, and I don't blame his corner for pulling him out. If it had cut it could have ended his career.

Ouch. I watched a feature a few years ago which showed the canvas after Calzaghe against Roy Jones. That was a fairly nasty but not out-of-the-ordinary cut, but my god, the blood. It looked like the floor of an abbatoir.
