Josh King joining Man. United so one less attacking option to worry about for them.

He hasn't gone yet, Bournemouth rejected the offer.

Eddie Howe seemed resigned to it when I heard the interview so sensed it was done but appears not.

Fingers crossed it goes through, a nice pre-match body blow to them wouldn't go amiss.

Yep, Bournemouth's decline linked to Dominic Solanke starting, he is rubbish. Massively hyped because he scored some goals for England youth teams.

I know, but losing one of your best players will not help the mood for them.

Very true. Little time to get a replacement in either.

1-4 and a time to look up the table rather than down.

This is on at 9pm again. Grr! Phone and internet off from 5pm CET. I must remember to tell SWMBO to switch hers off too because I did some AVFC searches on her tablet and now Google keeps popping up the Villa scores on her devices and spoiling the game for me.

Yup that would send the "right" signal to their players.

Lawrenson has us down to win. That is normally a bad omen.

Both sides are a bit pish defensively, so can see a 2-2 or 3-3 even.

With our run of fixtures coming up it's one we could really do with winning but absolutely cannot afford to lose.

I think the back 3 are beginning to gel. Jack's in great form. Nakamba and Luiz are playing better after fading over NOV/DEC. Samatta coming on board gave the atmos a lift too. There's goals in Trez and AEG from wide. The turnaround has started. Avoid silly errors, stay focused and play to our strengths and we'll win. I think we're due to give someone a bit of a thudding in the league.

0-3 (Jack, Samatta, Davis).
UTV.

(Yes, I still haven't come back to Earth after midweek).

Reina

Hause
Mings
Konsa

Targett
Nakamba
Luiz
Guilbert

Grealish
El Ghazi

Samagoal

Wouldn't surprise me to see the midfield two keep their place. It's a question of whether they can bring the same level of energy and aggression. Nakamba in particular I feel has really shaken off his poor form.

Bournemouth are weakest when they're out of possession higher up the pitch. Their midfield 4 are easily bypassed and you're exposing their back four, with acres of room.

Tuesday has got to bring confidence.
