Just had a quick look on their Blue Moon forum and let’s just say they’re quite confident of winning by putting any team out against us tomorrow.

I’m going with the thought that we’re in a final so let’s leave nothing on the pitch. I know the odds say we’ve got no chance but all I want is a performance where we at least put a shift in. We may get beat but those players need some kind of personal pride being restored after last week not just for tomorrow but for going into those 11 games left. UTV

Reasons to be positive about the Carabao cup final:
*We are unbeaten in this year's competition (going into the final) unlike City.
*The last time Villa won this trophy was also a leap year.
* Our record against Man City in the league cup is very good winning 3 and losing only 1 in head to head encounters.
*Aston Villa won the league cup in 1977 having beaten Man City (3-0 at VP) on the way to the final.
*Villa have never lost to Man City in a cup final (they haven't lost to us either but that's irrelevant)
*We're unbeaten in March 2020 (wink, wink)
UTV!

Would throwing Louie Barry on the bench tomorrow be a good or bad idea (that's if he's illegible anyway)?

I’m taking 3 of my 4 kids so going to make the most of it

I’ve already resigned myself to being disappointed with the line up as I think he will go for a confinement team with a defensive back 5 etc,
which will just cause City to go even more on the front foot like last time unfortunately
I would have preferred to have a go like what we were told Smith was all about when he first came but hey ho

in reality I can’t really see any way we can win this and a miracle is what we need
fortunately I do believe in God and miracles so you never know

so eat drink and be merry is the plan for tomorrow before we troop of to the colosseum to see the people take on the Lions

I always check BBC weather and then prepare for the opposite.
