If it said mentioned Aston Villa and the League Cup Final, it would still be about the game, wouldn't it?

I'm pretty sure 13 year old me would have wanted nothing to do with a half Villa/half Man U scarf for the 94 Final.

And there's plenty that would have. Isn't it better that it's the club that gets the money for them rather than the sellers outside the ground?

I'd rather the club arranged for death squads to deal with those selling such abominations outside the ground.

IMO the only time half and half scarves are acceptable are for big European or International games. I have ones from Villa v Ajax, Hamburg v Villa and Germany v England.

They look good as souvenirs however it is NEVER acceptable to actually wear one.

Do i recall seeing half and half Celtic Rangers hats in the Holte end in the 80's?  I definitely rember the chants but pretty sure there were hats too.

Yeah that sounds right.  It's odd that there seemed to be a fascination with Scottish football at the time.  Nobody gives a shite now.  Can you imaine hearing Celtic ... Rangers... chanted on the Holte now?

Yep, they've bought in an 8 games and a 5 games tiers.

Whilst I agree this is fairer overall, I'm not sure they should have changed the goalposts from the last few years without making this clearer.
