The first professional club in the world to play in a major domestic cup final in fourteen different decades.

Good stats!

We're not actually in the 20s yet thought are we. This is the final year of the 2010s.

How is 2020 not in the 20s?! I wasn’t a teenager when I was 20!

Because a decade is completed at the end of the tenth year in it, not at the start of it.  It's like when we all celebrated the new millennium a year too early.

Proper fucking club.

That formation, proper striker pressing the back line, wing backs pushed up, wingers and full backs over lapping, beautiful to see.

Nyland MoM, his 3 saves first half were superb, but that makes it seem as if Leicester battered us, in reality we had as many great chances as them.

Mentally preparing myself for the pens, absolute scenes when that went in.

Leicester had their best team. We won vs a team that are 3rd in the league. Let 's play like this on a regular basis and we will be fine.
Now let's beat Bournemouth and we will get confidence.

I gave up on that argument at the Millennium.

However, in my haste I miscounted - it's thirteen.  And strike the domestic as well otherwise the 1980s will have to go.

So 1880s, 1890s, 1900s, 1910s, 1920s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s

However, if you want to count the War Cup we can have the 1940s as well.

Can I just point out...

3 Wembley trips in 3 years!
Living in Leicester,as Jack said,i'm over the moon.
The Leicester lad's where i work will be crying in their tea, lovely, and myself and a fellow Villa fan from Leicestershire will be whooping it up,their wankfest is over, well done Villa boy's.

I'm also exiled in Leicester. A few debts will be called in tomorrow :)

I've checked with George Ramsay.
George says he doesn't give a shit when a decade starts and ends, he just pleased to hear the greatest football club in the world is carrying on a fine tradition all these years later.

I'd remind any Leicester fans we led the tie three times to their none.

Doesn't sound right, they're a bigger club than us.

I thought Nyland was immense and most players were on their game. We are still a work in progress but the apparent togetherness in the squad is fantastic. It’s been evident since the play off win and all of the players who joined in the summer have brought in to it. That’s got to be down to Smith.

Tonight is wonderful, the Villa are back at Wembley and I really think we have something to build on to move up the table in the rest of the season.
