Leicester had several early chances but then I thought we nullified them for a long period. Their equaliser was actually a bit of a surprise because we’d been the better team in the second half and Iheanacho had done nowt. After they scored they looked like they were building a head of steam but Vardy didn’t get a look in and we still looked dangerous. What a finish.

Just got back.  Absolutely streaming with a shitty cold, but wouldn't swap the feeling for anything.  Worked so hard in both legs against a very good side, but we deserved it in the end.

Onto Wembley (Dean Smith has just pointed out on the radio that Phil Dowd won't be referring!).  BUT we have to channel this into Bournemouth on Saturday.

They showed real belief tonight. Proud to be a Villa supporter after a performance like that.

So what decade was the year 0 in then?!

Edit - read it properly. There was no year 0. That’s the real story here tonight!

When did they start counting the years in AD form ? JC took some time to achieve big enough celeb status to get the calender based on him.

Evans header went just past the post a few minutes earlier. Was a cracking cup tie, end to end. Thought Rodgers tactically was a bit of a mess over the two games. Three centre backs at home when we had no forwards on and tonight Grealish torched their right back all night with no cover from midfield.

Just seen the winning goal because I had no recollection of it at the game.

The cross from Elmo is just incredible. Probably one of the best you’ll ever see.

And ill straight up hold my hands up as in that second or so that the ball was in the air I was thinking what a stupid twat he was for not playing it wide to Jack.

Only really happened when he went to the Rocket Club.

I really hope someone ran past the chav and cupped their ears at him. Be even better if it had been Mings during the game.

Rogers looks like he's chewing a wasp.
Apparently he has got a picture of himself in his Living room. It must be to keep the kids away from the fireplace , Twonk.
