Guilbert may be missing tomorrow. He's just posted an Instagram story of a very swollen jaw on one side with the caption "fucking tooth". Hardly debilitating but does look painful.

As long as he doesn't decide to drill it himself, he should be alright.

That aggression to close space and lay a glove on the opposition has to be there from the off. Having a striker certainly helps, but here we are. It looked risky in the summer and so that has proved.

If you're going on Tuesday, then park your frustrations, even in adversity and back the side to the hilt.

You just know Troy Deeney will turn in to Pele for this one. I can see it being a very unhappy night again with a very angry home crowd the longer the game goes on. 1-3 them. Please prove me wrong Villa.

Why is it a 7:30 kick off, have we gone back to 1975?
I hope so, because the next 7 years are going to be a hoot

We all have our thoughts on the shambolic recruitment and negligence of forward issues. This is parked now.
Tomorrow night we need an Everton game atmosphere. Backed from first to last. We need to get maximum points or worst case a draw. Get the lads over the line

Yes, what you said. Go with what we have, give Indiana a go, as we might need some young legs to run and cause problems for Watford.

Dont fear the 'fear

Fans have done their bit all season and will do again.

It would be great if Purslow and chums would get the finger out and do likewise.

Where Indiana seemingly worked on Saturday was the total opposite - bringing young fresh legs on to run at them and press higher up to see the game out.

If we start him he will inevitably run out of gas at 60 mins - what do we do then?

I know he's not a striker, but i do think we should play young Vassilev there tomorrow. Just to give us shape and a willing grafter to harass their defenders if nothing else

What we need to do is stop that ugly fucking trogladite called Deeney who seems to have a the horrible knack of scoring against us.

Nullify him and we may have a chance

I disagree, I think we've been quite passive for a lot of home games.

Everton was the best atmosphere in years. It was four sides giving it some hammer for most of the game. We've had plenty to grumble about, but for 90 odd minutes, ignore the inclination to moan about a misplaced pass, counter about a wayward cross and leave B6 knowing you've played your part.

Bring Archer on from the bench.
