Calm down people. We are all on the same side remember. Tension getting to one or two I think. That can easily transfer to the players. Keep the faith and enjoy the ride. Win lose or draw we continue to support Villa.

Good point and VC has made a statement and understand that was only info he has.
Matter closed made my peace .
Tomorrow a win 2-1
Grealish and El Ghazi
Up the villa

Is that post required?

Is yours ?
And his on that Benteke buy to loan claim ?

Ask anyone on here about my ‘claims’. I post what I know. We enquired about him. That’s all.
If your trying to have a go at my ‘info’. Think you’ll find I also told everyone that Wes and Heatons were ACL’s and season jobs. But guess that doesn’t fit the narrative

No I trust you that was the issue . Actually I find you most reliable hence I was asking and wanting to hear more.
I was just disappointed we never heard anymore.
Esp as we have no strikers!
And I'm only right to say about Benteke as to be fair anything else you post is separate and I shouldn't question general integrity .
Just upset that you told us Benteke is coming and then nothing.

Get you mate.
I’m as frustrated as anyone else at this moment about our recruitment etc. Anything I ever post is in good faith from what I’d call a reliable contact.
Issue is, with deals, enquiries etc. It’s fast moving and things can be on in one minute and literally dead in the water an hour later.

Re: Benteke - we have 100% be in contact with them. Loan to buy is what we want. They dont. The financials involved in his deal are circa £24m (transfer fee and 3 yr deal). That’s HUGE cash so currently we’re exploring alternatives.

Know no more on that one or anyone else we’re in for (example - I didn’t even know about Samatta)

You just know Troy Deeney will turn in to Pele for this one. I can see it being a very unhappy night again with a very angry home crowd the longer the game goes on. 1-3 them. Please prove me wrong Villa.

Unfortunately, I'm seeing that too.

Pearson will set them up exactly as he did for the game at Vicarage Rd. First and foremost, we'd better be up for a scrap. If we're not, expect more of the same.

The fact we still don't have a striker for these critical games is beyond belief.

Anyway, I'll take a 1-0 (Deeney OG) 89'

Mings missed the catastrophe of the away game last month didn't he? I'm hoping he beats the shit out of Deeney in a completely legal way.

Goading him into an early sending off would be my hope.

Just watched the shit show of this fixture from March ‘87 with 12,000 odd there, Falco for them, Steve Hunt for us. Think that’s about the best we’re gonna get. Similarities - it was a night game, they had an horrible No 9 who always seemed to score against us, we had no strikers - well Stainrod and Andy Gray a second time around.

Come on Villa. 2-0 please.

I’m assuming his apparent leg issue was nothing? Hope so clearly!

Thankfully Aspinall saved us.

I was there that night with my brother as a 10 year old, I remember getting the bus back to Castle Vale and having to trudge up the middle of the Collector Rd for what seemed like miles.

I'm open to illegal methods too, if I'm honest.
