Listened to 1st half on AVTV.   They make it sound like we have played well.  Doesn’t correlate with comments on here?

Who have we had with £140  million to spend?  Poor Smith.  Brummie through and through.  Never given a chance.  He is rubbish.

Basically, we've become Newcastle.

Co-commentator asking why we aren't playing two strikers. Jesus Christ.

You don’t want to know what I called him when he said that! Prick

Smith is going the right way to become the worst manager we have had since Gerard Houllier.
McLeish wins that all day long.

Remi Garde for me.
It's been a poisoned chalice for them all really.

Controversial, but I’ll say it. Last season’s team would beat this year’s.

The Houllier that no manager since has finished as high as in the table?

Palace 1 up at Man. City after an hour really does sum up how pathetic we are against any decent technical team in this league.

It's still Sherwood though.

Agreed Des. We’ve gone up a division and not added a single player that’s better than what we had. Diabolical mismanagement.

I've said it before, Smith's management didn't get us promoted. We were going one way under his stewardship last season until Grealish came back in and pretty much single-handedly dragged us back into the Premier League.

Smith is a chancer. We're suffering the same symptoms as Brentford before us. Everything about this season stinks.

Poor tactics, no ability to change the game. Team don't look fit and lack any effort/ability in games.. .and we've spunked over 100 million quid on pretty much garbage.

Tom Hanks is a Villa fan, but I doubt we'd give him the benefit of the doubt and let him steer us back to the Championship. Smith is employed to do a job, no matter his allegiance, and he's not bloody doing it.

Get rid.
