To think Glenn Whelan was released as we thought he couldn't cope with a PL midfield.

Now we have an asthmatic pit pony in there.

We're not showing anything that resembles form, fight or tactics that will keep us up.

Losing the game in midfield. 451. Luiz on for Drinkwater, before he gets sent off. Vassilev on for Hause. Grealish into the middle. Ghazi and Trez out wide. It's still shit, bit it's all we have.

Instead we'll do fuck all.

Lets start preparing for the championship if smith stays. Absolutely woeful eprformance. Throws drinkwater in who looks nowhere near fit eniygh. By time he is fut we would have been relegated.

We cant press, we cant create chances, we cant score from set pieces we cant defend. Thats the manager. He has 45 minutes to aavw his job for me.

6 losses in 8 not good enough

Grasping for positives, we look a lot better with Targett than we do with Taylor.

Surely even Smith isn't stupid enough to send us out for the second half with no changes?

Utter garbage first half. Targett booted it straight out of play unopposed twice, Hause awful and Drinkwater running in treacle.

We'll be 3-0 down before Smith makes any subs.

The worst, most worrying, most depressing thing about this isn't the general ineptitude, it is the near total lack of spirit.

Completely devoid of ideas. With 3 strikers added to this squad looking at fixtures to come I can’t see another 18/20 pts

A first half of absolute, utter cack.
Not a singe positive to be taken from that fucking drivel.

I know we have striker problems, but this is now compounded by a midfield that is absolute pish, and a defence occupied by Konsa and Hause who age fucking liabilities every time the ball goes near them.

But worse than all of that.
Where is the fight, the reaction to being fucking shit last week?

The manager certainly doesn’t seem to be able to instill it.

Watching Ausburg-Dortmund during the break, 3-3. Haaland scored within 3 minutes of coming on.

3 at the back ain’t working. You need players who can bring the ball out and fill in in midfield but our lot just keep running backwards leaving a huge gap with our non existent midfield. Dean needs to get Luiz on and flood the midfield with players even if they are all crap
