I'd expect Guilbert and Nakamba to come back in after their rest. Reina will start too. Going to be a horrible game this, first goal wins I think.

Apparently Brighton need 45 minutes to get going. We're the opposite so providing we score in the first half the 3 points are in the bag.

Brighton have looked good in the MOTD highlights I’ve seen this season, yet they are 3 points ahead of us. We’re in danger, and I’m as guilty of this, as talking them up as a top side...lots of us did this pre Burnley as well. The lack of a striker is huge and they go 1-0 up we have problems, but this is not mission impossible

Can't see it. Feels a bit similar to aftermatch of Leicester game. Can see us keeping it tight for 30 minutes without ever looking like we'll score and then one Brighton goal and it could easily go way as Sheffield United and Watford.

Mind you I thought Burnley would win comfortably and we played well there. Hopefully Mings will keep us focused at the back as Brighton are decent but no Man. City once in the final third.

You cant see us beating a side that are 3 points ahead of us?

Were we all celebrating Wesley after Brighton, when a midfielder and full back scored? Or were we bemoaning playing with 10 men?

We've also scored more goals in 90+ minutes than any other side (4).

I’m afraid I think it’ll be a loss. Brighton played some nice stuff against us until Mooy got sent off.

2-1 methinks unfortunately.

If we win and results go the way they *should* then we’ll jump up to 15th. On paper the 6 teams above us could all lose so let’s hope it’s a good day...we most certainly need one.

Brighton have never won a Premier League game in January. There I’ve jinxed it now.

They've not beaten us in 40 years.

Double jinxed, so its cancelled out.
