It's going to be 8 or 9 isn't it.

Maybe it needs to be to get something done about our situation.

I hope that wasn't our 'good' half.

The most worrying things for me are that we don't look like we care, we look incredibly unfit, and that it doesn't really need to be Man City levels we're up against, we are woeful most of the time, regardless of the opposition.

I can handle losing heavily, but at least look like we are trying.

Finding ourselves without a striker at this point of the season is also gross fucking negligence.

100% agree, last time I saw a Villa side look this bad was the year we last got relegated.

Yes, Smith's defenders will say 'Yes but it's City - they're much better than us' but it's not so much the thrashing as the manner in which we're getting thrashed.  We have been a total embarrassment so far, it's borderline unprofessional.

That's gotta be the slowest midfield we've ever put out and I've seen Mark Lillis play.

They are relentless.

De Bruyne is obviously a class player, but oh dear Drinkwater chasing shadow after shadow.

Fuck off, Villa.

Do not like this team, manager or tactics at all. Apart from Jack, Mings and Guilbert, but even those two have been shit today, and poor old Guilbert can't get in ahead of that waste of space, Elmohamady.

Thank god for half time. My favourite part of the match, so far.

Look at Watford they are getting out of trouble as they have some nasty big physically players who can fight , we have a bunch of light weight players who get out muscled constantly.

Drinkwater no help as he is miles off the pace which hasnt helped but again Houriane in games like this is hopeless he cant  get near anyone to put a foot in.

Just have to keep score down now , regroup for the massive next game and ffs get a striker in

Think today has also shown McGinn is a miss in these sort of games.

Has drive and mobility and played well in our good away games against the better teams.

We simply don't have enough players who are an out ball and can get us up the pitch which you need in these type of games as space will be left.

If we do go down then we're proper fucked.

This season is still salvageable but I doubt it with Smith in charge.
