El-Ghazi up front? A few on here have called to try it out in the past. Glad were back to 3-4-3

I was one of them so happy with the side picked tonight. A look at the bench highlights the need for urgent signings, mind. Targett must be injured still?

FFS you negative bloody ninnies

He’s going for it , the game is on , we’re in with a shout of Wembley and a trophy . It’s a semi final .

Come on Villa . In Smith we trust .

Negative ninnies be gone from this thread !!!

Does that include Moaning Minnies?

If Kodjia is on his way, surely we need 2 strikers in?

Looks like smith was reading the thread where I suggested Grealish in the Cantona creative number 9 role 😉😂

Well, I suppose that's one way to address the issue of losing your first-choice centre-forward.

I'm actually excited to see how we do with it, as it will surely force us to play a bit more rather than relying on a forward to win hopeful balls, but I swear if I see us simply lobbing up to whoever is in the middle of the front three, expecting them to get anything out of Soyuncu and Evans, I reserve the right to lose my shit.

Come on you Villa boys!

Puzzling.  Even if Kodj was off you would think he would still have him on the bench.  Maybe Dean has fallen out with him
