Good to see we have gone full strength, but still got a bit of an uneasy feeling about this one.

Can only presume Kodjia is injured or is on his way.

Well there’s no doubt that Dean is going for it.

Kodija might be on his way out?

WM say he's fit.

Typical of us though to get rid of him before we actually sign a new striker!

My hopeful hat says we have agreed a deal for Benteke and Kodija is on his way to recoup some wages.

3-7-0 system lol

Smith has finally found a way to not have to play any of our 'strikers'

Sadly it just makes room for an extra awful winger!

Back to 3 at the back then.
Are we the only British club to NOT player with a striker?

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking but if that's "are we the only British club to play without a striker" then the answer is no, we're not even the only club in this round of this tournament to do it.

I think he's been on his way for a good while and given we have only one fit forward on staff he isn't being risked/used tonight. And if tonight works he may never be seen again. As soon as we buy a forward or two, he'll be gone.

I can't get excited about this game in any way shape or form. I just hope it's not too much of a demoralising defeat.

El-Ghazi up front? A few on here have called to try it out in the past.

Well he's no winger so it's worth a try.

3-4-2-1 is my guess from that team selection.
