I think if we were to get a new manager, the priority would be a stable appointment to see this ratarsed season through and avoid relegation.

Then look for a head turner.
Sam Allardyce?

I really didn’t think Dean would turn out to be so unbelievably shite.

None of us did. Literally nobody
And it’s not a case of being out of his depth or learning the ropes in the PL.  He is a truly negligent and abysmal manager who can’t even do the basics.   Which doesn’t seem quite right. Maybe decisions are being made for him.  In which case the club is truly fucked.
Like not dropping the star signing under any circumstances, for example.

Shout outs to Luiz and Lansbury, both utterly invisible for 45+ minutes.

Which competition did Wesley enter to get a year's worth of professional football in Aston?

Spot the Ball in last May’s Argus.

Fucking hell! Who was that who won the ball then trotted out nonchalantly, only for Deeney to sprint back and steal it back!?!

And why aren't the rest of the team screaming MAN ON at him?!!

Garbage. Utter garbage!

Staying upright is an achievement for Wes.  It's unreasonable to expect him to play football as well.

We might get something from this game if we move the ball quicker, wake up and stop being second to every ball like usual.

Dean Smith will not change his tactics. Dean Smith will not play anyone else but Wesley for league games.

If he won't change then the job needs to be taken away from him for the good of Aston Villa.

Our sodding defenders are trying to pass the bloody ball out - often with hilarious results. We’re not fecking Barcelona. We’re more Deportivo Wanker at the moment.
