If that's the last I ever see of Jota, I won't be upset.

Do Watford often concede in the first five minutes of the second half?

Oh brilliant. Same shape, same Wesley, now with added AEG. I'm sorry but he really hasn't got a clue

I think if we were to get a new manager, the priority would be a stable appointment to see this ratarsed season through and avoid relegation.

Then look for a head turner.
Sam Allardyce?

every moan we have had about the stubbornness and inflexibility of previous managers we are now saying about Smith. Sticking with players who don't deserve the shirt. playing people out of position. Sticking to a formation that doesn't work. Not reacting quick enough to substitutions etc etc. Why does this shit always happen to us? Time to step up to the plate owners and pull the trigger.

Dropping both wingers was a perfect opportunity to try 5 at the back or a diamond, both of which would allow Jack to be central and 2 strikers.

That’s twice this game we’ve actually, genuinely, been a danger to ourselves from our own set pieces.

I don’t mind. Just steady the bloody ship. Grind some results out.

We’re incapable of grinding our own teeth at the moment.

No leadership on or off the pitch.  If the owners seriously want to stay in this league then they are going to have to decide pretty sharpish if Dean Smith can continue in his role.

Agree with this, by final whistle today we will have played the 3 most defining games of this season, these 3 teams are teams we needed to stay ahead of on our target list of positive results, any decision on the manager most follow this result, the out come of this game, so any new manager has a fighting chance to bring in his own players in Jan to get us out of the muck.

I really didn’t think Dean would turn out to be so unbelievably shite.

None of us did. Literally nobody
And it’s not a case of being out of his depth or learning the ropes in the PL.  He is a truly negligent and abysmal manager who can’t even do the basics.   Which doesn’t seem quite right. Maybe decisions are being made for him.  In which case the club is truly fucked.

Which competition did Wesley enter to get a year's worth of professional football in Aston?
