Agree. Let’s set some traps. And fall into them ourselves!

We are just so meek and unadventurous.

We are so easy to play against, Week after week we give the opposition so much time and space to play.

Currently getting danced around by a fucking Nigel Pearson side.

Absolutely zilch going forward.

Wes is on his own, trying to get on the end of hoofs from the back 4, with no support whatsoever, so 90% of the time it's coming straight back at us.

We used to criticise O’Leary for saying ‘we are hard to beat.’  I long for those days.

On January 1st 2010, we were 15th in the league, having played 20 games and had 21 points.  I would love it, love it if..................

But we don't get close, we stand off and let teams play. It's the same every week.

Pressure brings mistakes. Standing off brings pressure.

That comment reminds of a time Aston Villa played a Brentford team managed by Dean Smith

We were doing this early in the season and we looked a lot better. Why suddenly ditch it?

Because like so many Villa managers before him he's gone into a shell. From being what we thought Dean Smith to be; a progressive, intelligent, tacticaly astute manager instead of playing on the front foot and learning how to defend late in games, he's instead decided to defend deep from the start and play on the break. Pump it up to a CF who cannot head the ball or hold it up. It's exactly the type of approach that leads to a manager getting fired or worse, a team getting relegated.
