Oh my fucking God.
That midfield is so lightweight.

Not exactly set up for a battle that team, is it? The three dropped can't have complaints but Grealish aside that's an average championship team if I ever saw one

Can’t argue with that

I’m trying to think of a more lightweight midfield that Also lacks no pace and It isn’t possible. We’re going to pass and out smart our way to victory, you watch.

Having looked at that team line up, I think it’ll be 31-1 to them. Just put that as my super 6 anyway.

By 31-1, I actually mean 3-1 but my phone has developed it’s own language.

Can get 7/2 today on Villa. Dont think I would bother at 10/1 let alone 7/2.

One positive I can see is that midfield should be good on the ball.

Was bound to be changes given that we only played two days ago. Obviously we are not privy to fitness levels etc. so makes it harder to judge.

Imagine that the clean sheet kept the defence together but would have though Guilbert would have worked better if Jota is going to come inside a lot as you would imagine. Bit odd to change Chester and Engles as well.

Everyone complained how shite our wingers were, so they are dropped. Lansbury and Jota deserve a chance.
‘Deserve’ ?

Maybe ‘due’, but never ‘deserve’

There’s about 3 people who’ve posted on this thread that have made any sense. Everyone’s virtually written us off before we start.

1. We played two days ago, most of the premier league won’t be playing the same 11 today as Boxing Day;

2. The same people slating El Ghazi and Trez are now slating the replacements pre match. Do you just enjoy slating your own club constantly;

3. If you don’t want Jota and Lansbury in the team who do you want in the team?? There is no point slagging Smith if you have no reasonable ideas of what you want;

4. I don’t think Grealish will be on the left, I think it’ll be Hourihane with Jota on the right and Lansbury/Luiz in the middle. I think Smiths actually been less attacking with this team with an attempt to be less open in the middle.

We may lose this game, we’ll know soon enough, but the endless negativity is grating. As I’ve said before did anyone think we wouldn’t be in a relegation battle this season after coming 5th in the championship. On New Year’s Day last year we were lucky to scrape a draw at home to mid table QPR

That’s tickled me.
They might get 29, but never 31, fecking hell, we ain’t that shit.
