We look terrible and, ominously for Smith, worse than earlier in the season when you'd think it would be the opposite, particularly when you consider the number of new signings to bed in. There's not really a convincing structure at either end of the pitch with or without the ball, and they look so hesitant and unconfident with their passes.

All I can see today is that Bruce has got us to roll up our sleeves and socks and we're giving it a go. It's as much as he can ask of them. In terms of tactics and style, well there isn't any.
