No pace, no movement, no urgency, body language of the team is fucking awful, utterly predictable coming forward.

Too many players who are not good enough at this level, and - I am starting to think - a manager in the same class.

The players don’t believe in the system we are playing or what is being asked of them. They look completely bewildered by it all. No confidence in every possible way on display.

I think it's more we just got smashed by Leicester and since then they don't believe they're good enough for this level for whatever reason.

We're also getting injuries now. For all that Mings form dipped in last few weeks we seem now taking his leadership and organisation skills out of the back 4 massively weakens us

68 minutes it took him to realise AEG wasn't contributing.
El Ghazi has a stinker yet somehow manages to remain on the pitch for 68 minutes.

Is it all that surprising? Fucking Wesley is still on the pitch.

Luiz pings a ball into the box, cleared by Wesley.

That really is a thread in its own right.

I hope Dean doesn't blame the McGinn injury for this.

The Leicester game just cemented what they all already knew. We had got by losing close games and scraping points. The message was it will turn. Then the wheels completely fell off and everything is laid bare. That the players don’t believe didn’t just happen against Leicester. It just served to prove their fears and concerns were legitimate.

He can't even trot out his customary pop at the officials either.

And another thing that has pissed me off today. Trezeguet scores several goals. So why drop him and play El Ghazi who has been as useful as a... well... not very useful thing

Trez is shite

But I can’t see how he’s any worse than any of what we’re watching right now... Sadly.

That is the trouble at the moment. Hourihane or AEG plays badly so Trez is mentioned, who then does shit so we ask where is ....  It is happening all over the park. Either the whole squad is shit (not saying it isn't) or /and the system is shit for the players. We have been saying all season that the midfield is not protecting the defence, the fullbacks are being double teamed, etc. He has tried multiple personnel in the positions (apart from Wesleys for some inconcievable reason) and the performances still haven't improved massively and are now going downhill faster then a champion skier. I expect Smith to start panicking and just drawing names out of the hat for the positions for awhile before finally trying different formations that the players have never trained in. We might even panic buy in January but something needs to be done that shows we are not hoping for three worse teams then us which now definitely seems to be our tactic and it is not paying off at all.
