Spending 45 minutes under the cosh, and conceding two to a relegation place team is embarassing.

they're carving us open whenever they want and Smith is just fucking stood watching it.

Pathetic.

He’s thinking of how we can get out of the traps he’s set for us

When your good players start performing badly it's a leaderhip issue. Engels, Jack, Guilbert all terrible today.

Dogmatically persisting with something / someone that clearly isn't working is all a bit Labour for me.
I hope to mean the manager.

Pundit just saying, 'you have to get the basic's right, and Southampton have being doing that really well'.............No they haven't, Southampton are only doing what Villa are incapable of stopping them from doing, Southampton are crap.

Norwich feels a long time ago now. All that optimism and now we have this... it’s dreadful.

They've all been diabolical, but special mention for Luiz, Guilbert, Wesley and El Ghazi who are worse than rubbish.

Has Hourihane touched the ball yet?

Oh well, at least we haven't just given the manager a massive contract extension.

I know we have 250 central midfielders at the club, but surely we don't need to play them all at once.

CH, MN and DL are not fast enough to cover the ground necessary to play a midfield 3, and expecting jack and el Ghazi to drop back to help them defend is a pipe dream.

This is stubborn ignorance from a manager who should know better after watching it fail for weeks.

This is just pathetic.

He simply cannot do the basics.
So many poor judgements all over the pitch!
Jack in the wrong position.
Wesley- well not just the worse striker I’ve seen in a Villa shirt but the worst player!
Same formation.
So unfit compared to every other team.
Really wanted him to be the man but time for him to go.

We've been so shit since Smith got his new contract. God knows why he was offered one at that point. The timing was so strange.
