Aston Villa vs Southampton Match Thread

Was hoping the manager would be bold and pick Kodjia. He hasn't. Let's hope the goal gives Wes confidence to start scoring again in the league. We go again

No LeTissier or Shearer for them which helps.

Play 4 across midfield, Wesley up top and Jack floating between the 2.

I worry for that midfield.
Weak as piss defensively.

How long have you been watching Dean Smiths Villa?

He's a stubborn so and so is Deano.

Kodjia should be starting this.

Those last 3 worry me, there's goals there if we aren't bang at it.

Still think we'll win, maybe 2-1.

Hard to see it being a 0-0. Long and Ings worry me, although promising that a few of their players seem to be out with a virus.

We should score a few today.

Not sure about Hause at CB, prefer him at LB.

Gonna try to cram 4 central midfielders into a 4-3-3 again, huh?

Hopefully it works out this time. If we don’t get three points today I’ll be pretty angry at full time.

Agreed. DS stubborn as fuck, sincerely hope it doesn't come back to bite us.
