A mate of mine here has just been looking at a few statistics, to help him decide which matches to put on his accumulator this weekend, and he's just sent me the following:

26-12 1989  Villa beat Man Utd 3-0
13-10 1999  Villa beat Man Utd 3-0
12-12 2009 Villa beat Man Utd 0-1
01-12 2019  ???????????

I’ve gone for a draw 2-2. We’ll be 2-1 up until the 96th minute...

I wonder if that strange fellow who used to post on here will make an appearance - Willow, or whatever his name was? c*** anyway.

I won’t be happy with anything less than a point from this match. Hate these pricks. Safe travels to everyone who is going. Hope you enjoy the day and have a good time.

Withington Red, or something. If I remember,  one of them on here was okay, and another would be on within seconds of them beating someone like QPR. We've had a few other teams supporters and they never last long.

There was that West Ham fan - Sendo or something. He was decent.

The amount of glory hunting fans I know. It would be a thing of such beautiful joy to give them a stuffing, purely for them. I live in hope. Man U are just awful. The worst thing about football.

I like that stat.

Unfortunately I can't see us keeping another clean sheet.

So 2-3. Wesley, McGinn and El Ghazi who will bully their defence drifting in as he did on Sunday.

Last time I made it there too, that was.
Did this get down to STHs? I did plan on trying to go, but forgot to remember on time!

Not too sure about this one.
We can play as well as can be then a combo of ‘bad’ officiating or VAR may bail manure out.

That gabby winner years ago was 27 years in the waiting. Waited 24 years to beat them at home in the league and think 2020 may finally be the year.

They’ve never forgiven us for denying them the domestic treble in 1994 and they’ll never get as close again.

Little known fact - Premier League trophy was sent to Old Trafford in 1993 whilst the league was still undecided. Player of the Year was beyond their influence which is why McGrath won it.

I’d be happy with a 1-1 and they laud McGinn.

Well, there's certainly nothing to fear and we won't be going there to sit back and hope. If we could get our noses in front then I actually think there's something for the taking. I'd be more confident with Martial still missing as I think he adds something for them but I certainly think if our midfield are on top form then we can get the upper-hand there.

We are bottom of the Premier League away from home Table.
We are second in the table for first halves.
Fourth for first halves away.
Which points to the problem with game management and second half substitutions, we have been awful with both, particularly away from Home.

It points to not quite as bleak a picture as you made out

With Kevin Friend on VAR, I fancy a 98th minute winner, off the hand of Sir Alex himself as glorious Manchester United win 1-0. Ferguson pushes his way past Mings and Konsa as he kicks Heaton in the head.  It goes to VAR but Mr Friend was in the loo at the time and didn't see the incident.

Seriously though, nothing to be scared about up there.

I pointed out we are bottom of the league for away games.
No picture just a simple fact.

Kevin Friend has just sent Jack off, and given them a penalty. The game is 5 days away, but he’s getting his eye in early.
