What i found interesting was how he didnt wish jack well at the end.

Clearly they are abit annoyed he did not believe in the project

Purslow is the best ceo i think we have had

Very impressed with Purslow's communication on this. After seeing JG's comments upon signing for City, I just think fuck him now. Loved him as a player at Villa, but his off the field stuff was embarrassing, and now he's away from his family will probably get worse.

Purslow is the type of executive you want on your side of the table when negotiating.
Nothing skin crawling here just oozes professionalism.
I know it’s a bit strange for us to get used to!

As Mr Shin just said to me on the phone, Purslow had a touch of the Billy Beane about him.

You don’t replace the player, you replace what the player does.

He was quite obviously reading a script so sounded a bit more stilted than usual but clear concise and to the point explaining the circumstances. On we go…..

Speaks well but he makes my skin crawl a bit. Very telling didn’t wish him well.

Just find him w bit creepy but sure why. Seems good at his job though

I liked the bit when he said that Jack wanted CL football “now”. Rather than in the future.

He says the right things.  So has a lot of them over the last 12 years or so.
After today not sure if I trust anyone in football.

He is exactly the type of high quality, not to mention media savvy CEO we needed under Doug and Lerner and as a result would never have been hired by either.

I really don't understand your opinion of Purslow. He's fantastic at his job and presents such a professional no nonsense portrayal of our club. That's all I'm interested in tbh.

He delivered unfortunate news with honesty and clarity. The club have handled this whole circus with dignity throughout.

I trust Dean.  Not sure if he is good enough TBH.  I want him to prove me wrong.

Can you imagine Tom Fox delivering that statement?  He probably would’ve accompanied with an update on Grealish’s shirt sale statistics and how they’re still available at knockdown prices.

As always very professional from him, comes across as a very astute man and he has a real class about him.

Guy at work reckons his mate is friends with Christians driver - possibly bullshit, but he said this is his last year and will probably retire at the end of the season.

Signing wise he said backup GK, Axel and then a central midfielder are next and that will be us done.
