The MOTD commentator may not be a Villa fan, but he seems to have a soft spot for us. A few 'Holte End' mentions and he seemed to enjoy the goals.
Right at the start he said something about how Bournemouth have earned the the right to regularly play at Villa Park, the great...(can't remember the exact words he used but they were full of praise for the venue)

I see Newcastle were wearing their B & M strip today.

I said it was dreadful when they released it, and I like it even less now.

There are a lot of bad away kits this season - Wolves Fulham Forest Brentford - even our 3rd kit isn't good. Man Utd when they wear those yellow shorts

Still not sure what Rooney brings to the discussion. At least he picked out how well "Bunda" did for us during the match.

It's a typical starstruck BBC appointment. He could hardly string a sentence together.

That bit of analysis he did on us was embarrassing.  He could hardly get his words out.

I don't mind Rooney, but it's hard to see what he adds as a pundit (apart from "hilarious" old diving clips).

Listened to it earlier he just sounded nervous. Shearer was abysmal the first few years too. He’s not much better nowadays “pace power aggression” but at least he doesn’t stammer.

Was Rooney drunk. Even by his standards I couldn't understand much what he said.

In comparison to Clinton Morrison he erudite and eloquent, just bern watching him take 5 minutes to repeat that Eddie Howe is a brilliant manager.

They think we don't notice these slights, but the more perceptive amongst us do. I bet we're not on first tonight either, even though there's only two games today.

Yep especially as the other game is between a team of nobodies. And another one.

To be fair that means a lot of our football will be up 2nd.

Percy - you missed the tribute to the Toon Army and magnificent support yesterday. Another 3 minutes at least.
