Expert analysis tonight from Troy Deeney and that mediocre Welsh centre half .
Deeney has put some timber on .

It's a well respected online football publication, Tim. They hired a lot of former non-tabloid top level writers and have staked a pretty big claim in that sector.

MOTD have all sorts of shite on these days.

Fair enough Paulie. Jesus though , I'd say that's a slippery slope letting online "experts" into the BBC MOTD studio !?
The guy spoke well but he had no real idea of what's going on so it was weird .

Jacob Tanswell, our lad at The Athletic, is a frickin' legend. Well-worth following his tweets. He nearly made it as a footballer and he's become a really good young football analyst. His in-game posts on our games are a nice, er, contrast to the hysteria on Heroes &Villains match-threads!

Being an ex-pro does not mean they are better pundits than football journalists. There are loads of absolutely shite ones where having "played the game" has meant close to fuck all. The football journalists I hear tend to be much more clued up, and I'd suggest do more research than say, Tim Sherwood.

Good analysis on Caicedp pushing into midfield, freeing up one of the Chelsea double-pivot to join the attack, and cutting down the distance for both Caicedo and the midfielder to get back in position if they lose the ball. Exactly what they did against us, and what I’d like to see Maatsen doing when he establishes himself in our team. What he did for Dortmund basically.
