Just came to post the same. I don't go for the 'media bias' angle but that was undeniably the case. I mean, they didn't even do a tokenistic 'and what about Villa'. They just talked about Man U and moved on.

Well it appears there was only one team for MotD to analyse and it wasn't Villa.

Just read the Telegraph report and the same. Not even a pretence at balanced reporting.

Can't take to Joe Hart.
Why he seems one of the better pundits

He went to the same secondary school in Shrewsbury as my elder son; he's thick as pigs**t.

He’ll fit right in as a pundit.

It’s a shame that they have to be former players. I’d rather listen to the real analysts, the ones who explain everything to them before they go on. But no-one’s heard of them so they don’t get the gig.

Surely the story in on Manure because they are waiting for the rug to be pulled out from under Ten Hag. What story was their for the Villa? Not good enough to breakdown a poor Manure side?

It would have been more of an issue if we had bothered to give them literally anything to talk about for us.

Sadly that's correct.

I think it's good that we're 5th and it's just being taken for granted.

Yes for once - below par Villa didn't perform is about all we can say. Both teams had hard midweek games and it showed. They were about as good as they could have been expected, we weren't.

ManU will always be the bigger story especially when in 'turmoil'

Taken as a compliment around Meole.

I really do like Stephen Warnock's analysis on both Sky and MOTD. Thoughtful, insightful and clear.

Unlike the goon squad of the likes of Richards, Walcott, and Jenas (when he wasn't allegedly waving his cock around) the bias of people like Deeney and Murphy and the sheer ineptness of Alex Scott and Colin Murray.

If anyone was watching the MOTD discussion about our game, without knowing who Man Utd were playing they wouldn't have been able to work it out!
