A couple of us watched the game yesterday with the Irish Lions over in Dublin. Massive shout out to the chap who runs it over there, it was great and they made us feel very welcome.

What a game to pick to watch though, we were great. I know they had players missing but still, five away from home is pretty impressive. No-one really had a bad game but the pick of the bunch for me was Nakamba. He really looks a bloody good player. I thought he might have dropped Big Wes but he's stuck with him and it was more like it yesterday. Let's just hope we can pick it up again after the break.

International PERIOD, not BREAK!  Deano stressed that the players whose international teams won't have them will be working their bollixes off at Bodymoor.

Was the pub the one at the top of O'Connell Street? Pretty sure last game I saw there was also a win at Norwich when Kozak scored on his debut.

I’ve watched Norwich a few times this season and they have impressed me and have goals in them. Even against Liverpool on the opening day they could have been 2 up before suffering the hammering they had. They were all over the place yesterday, not themselves at all. We full well took advantage of it so credit to us.

I've read elsewhere it was nearly the same Norwich side that beat Man City, Not sure how true that is.

Just checked, only 3 changes to the starting eleven that beat city.

You can only beat what's in front of you and we did that comprehensively, unlike against the 10 men of West Ham and Arsenal.  So credit where it's due. 

I'd agree with the Mings comments though, he's gone a bit Tommy Elphick in the last few games, doing just fine then dropping a bollock to concede a goal.  You could say the same of Engels too.  They need to maintain concentration for 90+ minutes.

If you mean Murray's Bar, that's the one at the top of O'connell Street. We were in there but watched the game somewhere else. The Irish Lions have moved from there now to a place in Temple Bar but we got discounted drinks for being Villa fans. Which was nice.

With Mings' pass to Heaton at the end for their goal, McGinn really played him into trouble with a high, looped ball that he was always going to struggle to do anything with.

Collectively we can be smarter in that regard.

Was stronger, they had a really scratch defence out v Man. City. Yesterday they had Godfrey who's a regular plus their first choice full backs.

Doubt Krul would've made any difference saving any of the goals and of course he might've dived the other side for the penalty.

Of course many probably weren't 100% as Farke said, there was a cronic lack of closing down on us 25 yards from goal so we just had free reign to have shots and run into the box which we duly accepted.
