As an aside it's amused me that i've seen a number of them on Twitter etc saying we fielded a strong side against Brighton. I really don't think they realise it was mainly our second string, then again they probably have no concept of squad depth.

The looked at our side against Brighton and immediately said none of them would get into their starting XI.

Less tickets for Claret members though as Wolves will get the larger 5-6000 allocation won’t they?

I believe EFL rules allow them to request 10% of the available tickets.

Back in the eighties when crowds were low Small Heath, Albion and Wolves at least used to fill the away end of the lower North stand terrace for league and cup. Coventry were the exception amongst the West Midlands clubs in that respect. They only started bringing more after winning the FA Cup in 1987 and having a couple of decent league seasons by their standards. They started 'giving it the big un' at Villa Park for a while. It didn't last.

The Coventry fans who tried to stage a sit in on the centre spot when Cyrille Regis scored after 12 seconds in the last game of 1991/92 were particularly funny.

How will they work that with North stand season ticket holders?

I’d be surprised if they put Away fans in the Upper North above our fans, bearing in mind what happened last time we tried that.

Brilliant gesture but season ticket holders don't need to do anything with their ticket, just turn up on the night, meaning their seat can't be resold. Not every season ticket holder is going to attend which means we'll end up with empty seats that could have been sold to other people.

No real alternative so there may be empty seats to watch a reserve game

By automatically adding the game to our cards, there’s going to be empty seats scattered all over the place.

Surely it would be better if we had to opt in, especially as the club will have to relocate some ST holders from areas allocated to Wolves.
