Villa Shield
« on: September 16, 2019, 06:47:31 PM »
Hi All,

I'm putting together the programme for Daventry Town's next fixture vs Coleshill this coming Saturday, and have noticed that Coleshill Town have listed in their honours something called the Villa Shield.

Its not something I've heard of before, does anyone know what this was?

In the information sent to me, they have it down as being won in 1966/67.

Hoping someone knows what this is, and if there is a list of previous winners.

I thought this was ringing bells but checking I am thinking of the Villa Schools Cup.

This link has Coleshill as winning the Villa Shield in 61/62 and 64/65.
