To win 6-1 away with a load of players that haven't played together competitively is decent going.

A 6-1 win away from home with half of our first choice players rested.

Fucking great stuff.

Haven’t seen or heard any of the game but just read all the match thread. Sounds like a professional performance despite Crewe having a bit of possession and a few chances. A good blend of squad, first team and youth players. Looking forward to watching the highlights.

Played very well going forward but not so down our left as they created a number of chances but couldn’t hit a barn door.
Marvelous looked composed on the ball as did Fred. I was surprised  that Jack came on when we were so far ahead, maybe DS thinks he’s not up to speed yet and needs minutes in his legs. Some decent goals also.

don’t think this result is because we have started  to take the cup seriously
I think we did under previous managers just that this team and the way we now play is far better we don’t get bogged down in a dog fight just let our superior class tell

good result,
really happy with that hope we can put a Wembley bound run together

I can't remember the last time I felt so confident before a cup game against a lower league side. They had a few chances which could have made it look less convincing than it was by the sound of it but good win all the same.

Compare this to the years of dirge under Lambert and Bruce.  Such a relief.

On a night where Norwich are going out to Crawley, quite.

Palace out to Colchester as well. Looked like most of their first team played as well.

What is this comfortably putting lower league sides away in the early rounds of cups malarkey all about?  Forgotten what it feels like to be honest.  Through to the next round and the squad got a good run out.  Job done.
