Just a shame the racist Konsa song seems to be gathering momentum, judging by the number of times it reared its ugly head last night.  Felt quite ashamed that the poor lad had to have that in his ears all evening.

In fairness they were just riding on the back of the crewe fans who had the same song for one of their lads. Continually banging that fackin drum for the whole second half when he came on

It was going on before the Crewe lads started singing it and carried on with excessive tedium on the train home. Fucking idiots.

While Target was down injured, Konsa was taking a drink and the song was going on. I was surprised that he smiled turned ro the fans and clapped the song.

I guess it's a difficult situation to be in for him.  He will want to acknowledge the fans singing his name and showing support and I think most footballers in this day and age would think twice about confronting their own fans as it can easily cause some to take offence and escalate the whole thing.  But I am sure he would probably prefer us to sing his name in a way that actually reflects something real about him aside from assumptions based on the colour of his skin.

I don't believe the vast majority of fans singing it are intentionally being racist or have stopped to think about why it is offensive ( unfortunately ) and Konsa probably recognises that this is what passes as support for some idiots.

Down our end of the stand it was sung twice after he scored then wasn’t heard again.

Only 600 or so tickets left for West Ham at home with two more weeks to go, so looks like it will sell out for the third game in a row.
