Changes for me tonight.
Start Trez on the left.
Drop El Ghazi and replace him with Elmo.
Bring in Freddy to play behind Elmo.

I also hope we get to see marvellous on the bench.

Not sure Marvelous is fit - would go for Hourihane myself.

Going for a 2-1 win, more in hope than reality, need to start getting points on the board, settle for a draw, lose this and we've got problems in spite of of just a few games in, this is the Premier League.

I'm surprised at the amount of people who are pushing Jack out to a winger role.  He's our most talented player and will hopefully develop in one of the best No 10's in England.  Do we really want to be fucking around with his position 2 games into the season?

Quote of the day on the Everton forum - "Villa would love to be Everton. We are their white whale." Hahahaha hahaha. How self obsessed!

Exact 11 I was suggesting in a conversation this morning. With Grealish in a free role.

Feeling nervous, which is ridiculous after only 2 games. Will relax, when we're 4 up with 3 minutes left.

Don’t be surprised or disappointed if we don’t see Guilbert and Targett in the side until Crewe next week. If he puts one or both in tonight then I will be happily surprised but I don’t expect it will happen.

I’d like to see Conor partner Luiz in a 4231 but I don’t think Dean will change formation yet either, but he needs to drop AEG and get more support for Wes whatever changes he makes.

Playing Elmo on right wing for a home game is the kind of change Bruce would get dogs abuse for

I'd be really worried with Smith if there is no change at full back tonight, even one of them. As others have said there is no consistency in the likes of Heaton, Trez and Luiz walking into the team with very limited pre season action but Guilbert and Targett being left out.

I’d rather be Liverpool, thanks. And I don’t want to be them very much at all.
