I think it’s taking the piss out of what is being said about us. I wouldn’t get too upset by it.

Great story Percy.

Didn't some noses on the eve of a game against them paint the Lions on the Villa gates Blue?

I found it amusing.

I thought it was funny.
Only to our rivals!
Not if you don't think we are "doing a fulham".

I don't think Villa fans need to take themselves so seriously. We aren't Newcastle, we can take a joke.

Yes. He’s my mate as well. (Not one of the head painters, although it’s possible they were involved).

It sits on the site of the old atlas pub  which I was born opposite.
From the age of about 7 I was chief bottle stacker , and also in charge of nuts and crisps ooh the responsibility .
I have some great memories of that pub and it had some great/ odd characters happy days

A few of us went there after the Juventus game when they beat us 2-1. It was the last week of the Atlas, they said once all the beer’s gone it was closing, and they had a topless barmaid to tempt perverts, which obviously worked.

Back on topic, I drove from the M6 onto the Expressway today, the signage at the Holte/Witton looks fabulous from there.

That looks so nice. I was only  thinking last week how poor the ticket office was looking. Not now !!
