Massive boost to have Tom back. I remember him saying a while back he was a bit ahead of schedule but they were being really careful with him.

Relieved to see this, as with several keepers linked during the window I was starting to worry the injury was worse than we thought.

If Heaton is fit then we should stick with what we have unless we manage to sell Nyland and Kalinic, and even then I would look at Reina for a year rather than an expensive signing.

We need the money for strikers, wingers and a leftback.

Great news, I think it's fairly certain, if he hadn't got injured, we would not have been fighting a relegation battle.

He must be fit if he's throwing himself around in training.  Really good news for us.

Any other interesting news about those reporting for training? Is the new boy wonder Ramsey involved ?

Interesting to hear Tom himself saying he won’t be ready for the start of the season.

So are we going with Steer or Nyland up until October?

Jed for me.

I thank Reina for his contribution in keeping us up. He seemed happy at the club and that photo of the Konsa/Mings winner v Watford with a blurred Reina in the background saluting the North stand in celebratory fashion will live long in the memory. However, his strong pro hard right politics makes me glad he’s not going to be with us anymore. Lazio/Reina is a perfect fit.

I must have been living in a cave because I never knew anything about his 'hard right leanings'

He supported an anti-lockdown demo organised by the far-right Voxa party, which is strange as he suffered quite badly from Covid himself.

Out of Nyland and Steer I'd go for Steer if that's the choice.
