I imagine at least one if not both of Kalinic and Nyland will be sold or loaned.

That's a nice surprise. Defintely need a new keeper.

Great news, my preferred choice to be honest. I was not keen on the other options, we could do with some experience and he's still extremely agile and not too old for a keeper.

Great if we get him - he'll need to organise a new defence in front of him and the experience will help speed that up, plus he was the reason Burnley turned it around last season after Hart was dropped. No complaints at all - if he lasts 2-3 years then that's a steal.

He's got premier league experience in abundance, played for his country and was his teams captain. He's a leader and will help organise our relatively inexperienced defence and he costs at least £10m less than Buckland, what's not great about any of that

Like the sound of this, although playing behind our new look defence, he's not going to have much to do anyway.

Really pleased with this. Top keeper with a good few years left in him, a proper leader too which will inspire confidence.

Adds some much needed PL experience to our backline, I would think he has been signed as number one but I wonder if Steer will be given a chance to keep his place.

Like others have said I still think we could do with another attacker and then it's just a matter of trying to offload some of our youngsters (on loan) and fringe players.

Very pleased with this.
Experienced goalkeeper, similar to when we signed Friedel, who did well for us, he's 33 but should play for at least another four years and will steady our defence. I think we will cut our losses with Kalanic, he is a current international and will command a decent fee, shame but he looked like a rabbit in the headlights after one robust challenge against Albion.

Happy with this aswell. With all the new defenders, we need a keeper who is premier league experienced and can organise a back 4 and Heaton showed last few years at Burnley he can certainly do that.

Think this is similar to when we got Friedel in who did a solid job for us.

Wasn't Friedel 37 when he arrived? Tom's a relative nipper.
