Our left back seemed AWOL for a few of their chances. Heaton made some cracking saves.

I'll need to watch again but I thought Tyrone was the man to leave his player in acres of space on a couple of occasions.

Nothing on the El Ghazi injured since the game?  I suspect he was ok.  It didn't look like a cleve tackle but his ankle didn't seem to twist in the tackle, so hopefully, he will be ok.  Trezeguet and Jota can start on thew wings if needed next week I guess.  I can see us signing another winger this week but they are unlikely to go straight in to the first 11 I would have thought.

That Heaton one handed save with the ball going in the opposite direction was just ridiculous - kept fit he’ll get us 10 extra points - brilliant keeper. Great result but Spurs will be a different prospect altogether. Think we need to work out how to get Wes into play more - maybe he should come back a bit more and play like a forward midfielder to hold it up and pass to runners. Get it wide then run into the box.

Not being rolled over by Spuds and giving them a game will auger well for the season. Fingers crossed we've gelled enough to start the season quickly.
Rolled over by Spurs....that is not going to happen

We did Leipzig again today in a behind closed doors game. Mainly players who didn’t play yesterday. Kodjia got the winner in a 1-0 victory.

Just watched the highlights on YouTube from AVFC. Properly impressive and nice work from Trez or whatever we’re calling him for the final goal ( as well as the by now routine quality finish from SJM). Was very impressed by the new lad Harry Han who looked a real upgrade on Conor.  :)

We've got more wins against Leipzig this weekend than Small Heath have against Villa this in the last fourteen years.

The Egyptian fanbase with their love of Trezeguet on the Pravda FB Page are getting tiresome.

Agree with you on this...Target was completely out of position in a different postcode. I also noticed this against Charlton (or was it Walsall?) as they had a period where they kept getting behind us down our left. I have a feeling that left back will continue to be our achilles heel this season and teams may target Target.
