Who would have thought 6 months ago that we would be lamenting the loss of the injured Marvelous Nakamba?

What goes around, comes around I guess.

12-16 weeks. So puts him at between 11th March and 8th April before he's back.

Was looking to see if we had an idea when he's back and this seems to cover it. No updates since then?

Gerrard mentioned him briefly in the press conference saying it’s still a long term injury.

The reality is that we won't see him again this season, which is a shame.

It’s truly amazing how much we have missed Marv. Our midfield has no balance now. We miss that one player who defends the back four. And critically, who we can rely on to do the dirty work, win back possession and break up attacks.

How many times have we seen this happen? A player becomes very important and then gets crocked.

True dat.

Chambers will do it. Mark my words.

If Chambers can do it he would have been playing that position vs Watford with hause in at centre half. SG rated Luiz as the best available player again despite knowing he was shit in that position

Marvelous Nakamba is three to four weeks away from a return.

Don't see that very often. The club giving timescales on how long a player will be out and then them turning out to be about right.

Presumably, we're on Steve-time now, not Deano-time!
