Yeah, long term absences are already an issue.

At least we would have a definite return date.

Express and Star saying he's out for 'at least 2 months'. If it's 2 months, we can consider ourselves lucky.

Yep - he will also miss the AFCON, which is a bonus.

12-16 weeks. So puts him at between 11th March and 8th April before he's back.

we've gone from the days of "Jack will be back next week" but missing for months, to revealing the length of injury lay-offs.

He has been decent and tidy under SG.   But I thought we looked better on Tuesday without him.

Yeah that super successful secret tactic of not giving the opposition any information and keeping them guessing that people were banging on about
has not been fully appreciated by Gerrard just yet

I would offer goal shy Brighton a swap of Ings for Bissouna

A little bit risky under the circumstances...

I have clearly missed a news story hear.  What are the circumstances?

Football-wise, that is a great deal for both clubs.

When we were playing the worst team in the league by a country mile you mean?

Bissouma is currently on bail for sexual assault.

People are entitled to believe we are a better side without "Nakka" as Gerrard brilliantly referred to him last week. When we're going for the jugular and need to impose ourselves, JJ/Meatball/Luiz with Goodday ahead of them makes more sense. I'd also expect Morgan to take this opportunity to get ahead of Marvelous in the midfield queue.
