A bit unfair. Emi can play a through-ball like no one else in the squad and his "remit" is to make things happen quickly so his pass-attempts are much more higher risk than Nakamba and his middle-third/square balls.

Yep, Nakamba gains possession and gives it to someone else to be creative and take the risks.

I was being very flippant I accept.  On the whole, Emi does a lot more good work then bad.

Marv out and having a scan on his knee.

Just as he was hitting form, feel really sorry for the lad.  Hope it's not serious.

Time for Luiz and Sanson to step up.

Time to rest/rotate a couple of the mid-fielders I think.

And maybe Norwich (who dont have the strongest midfield) and Burnley (where the ball will be in the air and bypassing our midfield most of the time they have it) is not a bad couple of games to be able to change it around.

Time for Sanson / Chuck and co to step up - 2 x decent wins and we have to start thinking like "He won't get back in"

Hopefully he'll miss the African Nations Cup and can rest-up in Redditch instead.

Wow.   I didn't even see anything that happened during the game or see him limping or anything and assumed he had been subbed off because he was kanckered.

That’s a shame. He was developing nicely under SG

Oh no gutted. If there’s one player that typifies our turnaround in form , it’s him.

We do seem to have awful luck when it comes to long-term injuries.  Get well soon Marv.

Absolutely gutted. He’s always done his very best for us and started to look a key part for us. What a shame for him and us.
