Improving a lot and a big part is actually just down to playing, getting a good run. He's definitely looking more confident and clear in what he's doing under Gerrard though and more impressively for me, aside from the things we know he can do, his forward passing and driving forward is improving too, as his close control under pressure. Bloody AFCON.

Magnificent today and best player this season - thought he was even reasonably good in Dean’s last few games

He's been absolutely excellent. That has to be good work from the manager and his staff.

The wee fella is probably my favourite player at the moment.  Undemonstrative, unfussy.  He is doing exactly the job he is being asked to do: break up play, move the ball to a player that is more capable of production.  He isn't looking to be a showman.  I respect that, as the ego of footballers generally prevents this sort of performance.  Keep it up mon!

One of the commentators said he is the most improved player in the premiership.

A stunning transformation in such a short time, he’s like a new signing. Huge credit to him and to the management team.

His passing is now much, much better than Douglas Luiz's, which is not something I thought I'd ever hear myself say.

Bloody hell, that's some statement; not that I'm disagreeing with you!
Luiz looked well out of sorts today and seems to slow the game down unnecessarily sometimes.

He was our best player against one of the best teams in the world the game before. I didn't think he was poor yesterday, not as good as Wednesday but not poor.

I wouldn't have said anyone was poor yesterday, and I can't real think of a poor individual performance in any game under Gerrard, everyone has contributed, and that says a lot.

Also probably down to getting consistently picked rather than just starting the odd game.

Has been excellent. Is going to be missed in jan.

We definitely going to need to get someone in as only luoz can play there unless he plans to use tuanzebe there?

I think this could be a option as axel has the attributes to be a very good dm

Will probably only miss 2 league games (against Yanited and Everton) as Zim's group games are Jan. 10-18th.

Two of the easier games then.
