I think we have a proper gem on our hands

Already heard mentioned as a hybrid of Kante and Idrissa Gaye - now that really would be a player

Glad to share. I took one for the team a couple of pages back for the meaning evil article too, worth a read and may have been been missed amongst all the noise about the chant.

I’m really excited about Marv, you do get the feel of him being a humble big hearted guy and given his background and experiences I’m confident he’s a genuinely good guy and personality to have in the group.

There’s plenty online about him, some nice quotes about how proud his Dad was about his move to us and how the family had never dreamed of seeing Europe, getting out of a one bed house etc.

Crucially for the club it does seem we have some quality recruiting going on, as Hookey says we’ve unearthed a real gem by the look of it. Trying to take the bigger perspective the strength in depth of our midfield and to a degree defence gives me confidence about staying up, hopefully with Grealish further forward too the attack won’t look the weakest link...

Yeah thanks for sharing this and other articles, much appreciated Purple. Agree he's got huge potential and the scouting system seems to have got their act together.

Its funny that we were all excited about landing Luiz as he came with a pretty impressive reputation but little was known about Marvellous so for him to get in and establish himself so soon is a credit to his hard work and dedication.

Really pleased our scouting team know what they are doing

Wasn't the story Dean went to check out Wesley and noticed Marvelous playing a blinder?

He hasn't played in any of their games since the African Cup of Nations. Not sure why. I think maybe he'll be back in when they have more challenging games (although they weren't far off a shock elimination by Somalia without him).

The end of this article suggests he will be back playing for Zimbabwe in the near future...

Given what happened in Bulgaria, I hope our 'fans' who sing that awful song about Marvelous, think twice.

Getting them to think once is hard enough, twice would be a miracle.

Played most of the game in a 2-1 win for Zimbabwe today (got subbed in the 94th minute). That, however is only a backdrop to revealing the best name ever - https://twitter.com/online_zifa/status/1196810659356463104 - check the number 16.
