To be honest we have some really good midfield options now.

Grealish and McGinn favoured for the middle, but Jota and Trezeguet can play in those positions too if needed.  El Ghazi and Trezeguet for the left, Jota and Green for the right ( with Jota, Trezeguet, and El Ghazi being able to swap wings also ).  Now we have Hourihane, Luiz, and Nakamba competing for the DM position.

Quite happy with that.  The only annoying thing is that Luiz really isn't going to be available for the first few games because of work permit.  Does anyone know if the Marvelous one has a permit already and can start training and preparing for the early games already?

Surely Luiz's work permit should be sorted before the start of the season?

It should, but he's still in Brazil... so once he is allowed to work over here he will be able to join the squad and start training and have to get up to the level the rest of the squad is at around now.

Really like what were doing and that we can get it to work on the pitch fast. Signing some scouts from Brentford and Club Brugge might be an idea.  8)

Scandalous
I'm talking about you and me
Marvelous
Baby, baby, can't you see
Anything you've ever dreamed of
I'm willing to be
Tonight it's going to be scandalous
'Cause tonight I'm going to be your fantasy

Only if they're as good as these Standard Liege scouts

You just know that if we signed "Lucky", he'd be injured on his debut and miss the next eight months.

Magnificent Stuff.

(I hope that’s not the name of a player too).

I commented he was anonymous in the first half but as the game went on he came more into it. Very efficient with the ball and I am sure he will be a lot more dynamic once fully fit. He’ll prove a great option converting for our starting midfielders in the future.

At about 20 minutes I didn’t think he would make it to half time...but he really settled and was my man of the match at the end

If it is too late for us to sign Godknows Murwira perhaps there is a Gaslight Wesleyan out there we can bring in

Dodgy start, but once he caught the pace of the game he was really good. Looks like he could be an enforcer to allow our seventy million other midfielders to get forward.
