Are you talking about our current vice-chairman?

Seems like a crazy gamble letting Tshibola go. If we get Marvellous and Phillips, that would only be about forty midfielders if Tish leaves.

There's a player in there somewh.....actually there isn't, he's shit.

Sky Sports also saying he's with the Villa medical staff today, although the details of the contract haven't been agreed yet.

Finally got around to watching a few videos of him. He reminds me a lot of Delph actually - aggressive, range of passing, somewhat slippery dribbling style and loping sort of running style, even left-footed and looks a little too eager to go to ground. If he has half Delph's impact that'll be a big success.

Half of Delph's impact would be the least I'd be hoping for. I liked Fab when he was on-form but for a lot of his career at Villa he was injured or struggling to make an impression.

I’ve also just finally watched the obligatory YouTube compilation. Repeats footage in a 2 minute clip, worryingly!

I like the look of him. Quick and physical, likes a lunging tackle. Can see him challenging SJM in the yellow card stakes.

He looks pretty quick, which he'll need to be with that tackling style. I was trying to see if the Belgian league was as quick as the premier league and it does look similar. Good feet and not afraid to go forwards - could be a good signing.

The Delph comparison is a really good one. Very quick, not afraid of making a challenge. Will absolutely keep SJM sharp and a brilliant rotation option.

I can see similarity with the way he plays and Delph looks a good player looking forward to seeing play for us.

Maybe the Egyptians have blocked the transfer,  as it might take focus from their son

We do seem to take our time getting deals over the line.
