Mods! Can we merge the two threads pretty please?

Sorry CD. Looks like you beat me by 35 seconds. Although I did 'break the news ' on the transfer thread. 😉

That's where I nicked the idea to start a thread from 😁

Until officially announced we'll keep "Deal completed" or similar out of the thread title.

Damn. Nearly started my first ever thread. I was just too slow. Story of my life, right there. 😂

So, I see he only played 18 games for Brugge last season - sure any good?

Or maybe he is backup for when Douglas Luiz is bought back to Man City, so we already have him lined up for next season.

Which would be my thinking.  This regime seem clued in to the way football operates.  There's more to forward thinking than just promoting kids.

As promised, it looks like we're building strength and quality competition for each and every position. I like it.

Is there some rule that we have to inform Sky Sports first as part of the PL deal? Seems they are almost always the first to break our transfers.

Does anyone know much about this guy?  Don't think I've seen any detailed assessments of his abilities?

He missed a lot of games last season, but maybe was injured at the start?

Instead of Luiz?

As well as, I would assume.  My optimismometer has just ratcheted up another couple of notches.

They don't do things like verify sources. Never wrong for long.
