Really good again. Mentioned in the match thread there was one tackle where he got the ball cleanly from the wrong side of the player and came out of defence with it. Amazing how he did it without fouling.

He reminds me of one of those lanky, not very athletic looking players you get at 5 aside that are impossible to get past, who never have a bead of sweat on them.

For me this guy has been the best buy of all the new signings. Looks class and a snip at the price we paid.

Agree, Engels and Guilbert combined fee £12m

Both look like bargains, Engels looks so composed for someone playing in a new league. Guilberts pace and energy was impressive last night again.

I'm tempering this with the thought that Micah Richards looked decent for the first two months, but this guy looks the business so far.

I suspect Bjorn's fitness record is superior!

Read an article earlier showing the 20 fastest sprints by players in Europe this season, remarkably, Engels was in the top 10. He looked borderline asthmatic against Southampton.

I remember an article which stated that based on stats,  Hutton was are most effective sprinter. When interviewed he laughed and said "Naah, it's Gabby".

Of the players brought in under the new admin, I get the feeling that they will all go on to great things, but time is at a premium for us.

Now, thanks to injuries, we are depending on an extremely productive transfer window.

Wasn't in the squad at all against Burnley, then dumped in the stiffs today for the annual FA Cup capitulation.  A right nosedive in form and confidence since the start of the season.

He'll come again, more than enough quality there for it to come through.
