Yep, him and Mings were both excellent. Very unlucky for their second goal as the ball deflected off both of them right into Kane's path.

Get Doug/Nakamba in front of them, and Guilbert and Targett either side and that looks like a good defensive unit.

I've liked the look of him since the pre season games.

Calm in possesion and good reader of the game, reminds me a lot of when Mellberg joined us. Just an unfussy way of defending rather than just lunging in and gambling all the time.
