If we sign him for £15 million then Juventus have basically given us £35 million plus Iling Junior and Barrenechea for a 1½ year loan deal.

I'd happily throw in an extra £5 million or so if they loan us their referees until the end of the season.

Indeed. Fingers crossed he can stay fit for a few months and is (Gerrard alert) the best version of himself.

Let's hope the "option" isn't based on minimum number of games and we don't end up refusing to play him.

If it's an option, we choose to sign him. We don't have an option to sign Elliott, we have a commitment to sign Elliott dependent on number of matches played.

I only said signing him a little tongue in cheek last week and then did it even think it was
A possibility. I was gutted to lose him. I’ve often said he’s been one of my favourite midfielders to where the shirt. He’s a class act and I can’t wait to see him play for us again.

What a wonderful surprise this is.

I’ve only just seen the injury to Tielemans is far more serious than first thought. It’s terrible news, making this signing of Dougie so important. I hope he’s looked after himself and he can hit the ground running. He’s got superb vision and created some wonderful assists.

He can do something both of them can’t do that well and that’s, penalties!

Doug is the Youri fill in I think, I’m pretty sure Unai wouldn’t see him in anyway a replacement for Bouba.

If we play Forest in the Europa League Final, does he get to collect both medals, regardless of who wins?

I was against getting him back because he hasn't shown anything since he left us. However with the current crisis, the fact he knows most of our players, manager and systems then welcome back, be good and don't get injured.
